A W Plant Services operates a fleet of vehicles for road haulage within the UK.

These vehicles range from 3,500 kg to 44,000kg gross vehicle weight, and include flat bed pick up trucks, vans and articulated HGV's. We offer transport on 13.6 metre flat bed trailers complete with Post and Twist Locks, as well as Step Frames, Low-loader and Extending Trailers to a length of 21 metres. There is also the facility for us to offer Hi-ab transport local and throughout the UK. This allows us the capacity to handle freight of all shapes and sizes.

Local, National & Oversized

Local & National Hire

All transport is available for local hire within the East Anglian region on an hourly rate charge, and a distance charge for national work across the UK. Work outside of East Anglia will be quoted based on distance.

Our transport fleet also supports all of the requirements of our Crane Hire division, to assist with the movement of equipment, matting and ballast as required.

Oversized Loads & STGO

We are equipped and able to transport loads within the legal limits of the Safe Vehicle Construction and Use in the UK. This includes wide and long loads. All notifications of over-sized movements will be arranged by A W Plant Services to move the load.

Please note that over-sized movements need to be booked and arranged at least 2 working days before movement, in order for the necessary movement orders to be requested and granted.

We also have access to arrange movement of STGO loads across East Anglia upon request.

Trailer Hire

Our flatbed and step-frame trailers are available for on site hire upon request. Hire of trailers will be charged on a daily rate and will require proof that the premises that the trailer is to be stored on is fully insured and secure.
